Window cleaning

How much does window cleaning cost?

Every home is different, so we give a free custom quote instead of a one-size price. It depends on how many windows you have, how high they are, how dirty they are, and which add-ons you want. Send us a few details and photos through the quote form and we'll get back to you with a price within one business day.

Do you clean the inside and outside of windows?

Yes. Exterior window cleaning is our specialty and where most of the dirt is, but we also clean interior glass. You can choose exterior only, interior only, or both.

What is pure-water (water-fed pole) window cleaning?

We filter water until it has no minerals in it, then scrub the glass and frames with a soft brush on a long pole and rinse with that pure water. Because there are no minerals or soap left behind, the glass dries clear with no spots. It lets us clean second and third-floor windows from the ground, which is safer for us and easier on your home.

Do you use ladders?

Only when the job needs it. Pure water handles most exteriors, especially high windows. For very dirty glass, detailed panes or windows a pole can't reach well, we use ladders and traditional squeegee work so the job gets done right.

Will my windows have streaks or spots?

No. Pure water dries spot-free, and anything we clean by hand is detailed with a squeegee and microfiber. If you see a streak we missed, tell us and we'll come back and fix it.

Do I need to be home for my window cleaning?

Not for exterior cleaning, as long as we can get to the windows (unlocked gates, pets inside). For interior cleaning someone needs to be home to let us in.

Do you clean screens, tracks and sills?

Yes. Screen cleaning and track and sill cleaning are add-ons. Wiping down the window frames is always included with exterior cleaning.

Can you remove hard water stains?

Yes, hard water stain removal is an add-on. We test a small spot first. Very old stains can etch the glass permanently, so we'll tell you honestly what to expect before we start.

Do you do post-construction window cleaning?

Yes. We remove paint, silicone, stucco and concrete splatter from new glass with the right tools so it doesn't scratch. Mention construction cleanup in your quote request.

How often should I get my windows cleaned?

Most homes in Greater Boston do a spring and fall clean. Homes on busy streets, near construction or on the water often go every three to four months.

Do you offer pressure washing or solar panel cleaning?

Yes, as add-ons to a window cleaning. We wash siding, walkways and solar panels for window cleaning customers, but we focus on windows and don't usually take pressure washing-only jobs.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain doesn't ruin clean windows, and pure water rinses clean without soap residue. If heavy storms are in the forecast we'll reach out and move your appointment.

Christmas lights

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

As a rough estimate, roofline and gutter lines run about $5 per foot. Trees, bushes, wreaths and ground lighting are priced by design. That estimate includes design, measuring, installation, maintenance during the season, and take-down. Every home gets a free custom quote.

What's included with Christmas light installation?

Everything. We design your display, measure, present the plan, install it, maintain it all season and take it down after the holidays. The lights we install come with a 3-year warranty.

What kind of Christmas lights do you use?

Rooflines and gutter lines get professional C9 bulbs on wire that we custom cut to the exact length of your home, so there are no extra cords hanging off the corners. We also do tree branch and canopy wraps, bush wraps, ground stakes and wreaths.

What colors can I choose?

Any color you want: warm white, cool white, multicolor, red and white, or a custom mix. We'll help you pick a design that fits your house.

What if a bulb goes out?

Maintenance is included. If a bulb or section goes out during the season, let us know and we'll fix it.

When should I book Christmas lights?

As early as you can. We book Christmas light installs from early fall, and install dates fill up quickly after Thanksgiving.

When do you take the lights down?

We schedule take-down after the holidays, usually in January. It's included in your price.
